Eurovision is one of the world’s biggest TV events. Watched by 161 million people. Pals were asked to help the BBC develop the brand strategy, theme and tone of voice for Eurovision Liverpool 2023. The result was ‘Proper Boss’, with a brand strategy and tone of voice that could carry this global giant. This year is a Eurovision like no other as the UK is hosting on behalf of Ukraine. Hosted by Liverpool and the BBC, we were tasked with developing a brand strategy that could represent the importance of the year through the lens of Eurovision.
